Welcome to Onlid ("we," "us," or "our"). We operate the Onlid mobile application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, transfer, and store your personal information when you use our App across the United States, the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom (UK), Switzerland, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Canada.
1. Important Notice Regarding Minors and Children
Because Onlid targets users under the age of 18, we take special precautions to protect youth and child privacy in compliance with applicable worldwide regulations, including the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) child protection rules, and Canadian PIPEDA guidelines:
- Users Under 13 (US) / Under 13-16 (EU/UK/EEA): Where required by law, parental or legal guardian consent must be obtained prior to collecting personal information from minors.

2. Information We Collect
A. Personal Information You Provide Directly
When you register for an account, set up your profile, or communicate with us, we collect:
- Identification Data: Name and Email address.
- Professional Data: Job title.
- Account Credentials: Login details and preference settings.
B. Sign-In via Third Parties (Google OAuth)
You can choose to register and log in to Onlid using your Google account. If you do so, Google provides us with access to basic profile information (such as your name and email address) in accordance with Google's authorization process.
Google API Services Disclosure:
Onlid's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
C. Derivative & Automatically Collected Data
When you access and use the App, we automatically collect certain technical and usage information through tracking and analytics services such as Google Analytics:
- Device & Usage Data: Mobile device ID, operating system, app crashes, system activity, hardware settings, and interaction logs.
- App Permissions & Usage Data: If granted by you, permissions such as Accessibility, Usage Access, or Notifications to enable screen time management and core application functionality.
D. Sensitive Personal Data
We do not collect sensitive personal information (such as biometric data, government identification numbers, precise financial records, or health records).
3. How We Use Your Information & EU/UK Legal Bases
We process your personal information for the purposes detailed below, supported by valid legal bases under the EU GDPR, UK GDPR, and Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP):

Onlid may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising networks that are not affiliated with us.
- These third-party ad providers may use cookies, SDKs, or derivative device identifiers to display contextual or non-targeted ads.
- Third-party privacy practices are governed by their respective privacy policies. We encourage you to review their terms.
5. International Data Transfers
Onlid stores and processes personal data primarily on secure servers located in the United States.
If you reside in the EEA, UK, Switzerland, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, or Canada, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US. We rely on lawful transfer mechanisms, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and equivalent UK/Swiss contractual safeguards, to ensure your data receives an adequate level of protection.
6. Data Retention & Account Deletion
- Retention Period: We retain your personal information for as long as you maintain an active account with Onlid, or as required by law.
- Account Deletion: You can delete your account and associated personal data at any time by navigating to your Account Settings within the App and selecting Delete Account. Once deleted, your account and personal profile data are removed from active databases.
7. Security & Breach Notification
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures designed to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.
In the event of a security incident or personal data breach where required by applicable laws (such as GDPR Art. 33/34), we will notify relevant Data Protection Authorities (e.g., within 72 hours) and inform affected users where required.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you have specific rights regarding your personal data:
A. Rights for EU, UK, Swiss, EEA & Canadian Residents
- Access & Portability: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification: Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
- Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): Request deletion of your data (also self-serve via App Settings).
- Restriction & Objection: Restrict or object to certain processing activities.
- Consent Withdrawal: Withdraw your consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.
B. United States Regional Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA & All State Privacy Laws)
