Welcome to Onlid! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Onlid mobile application (the "App") provided by Onlid ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using Onlid, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

Onlid is a mobile application designed to help users manage screen time, block selected applications, and promote healthy digital habits.

2. Eligibility & Minors

  • Age Requirements: Onlid targets users under the age of 18, as well as adults. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction (e.g., under 18 in most US states and EU countries, or under 13/16 depending on local law), you must have the permission and consent of a parent or legal guardian to use Onlid.
  • Parental Responsibility: Parents or legal guardians who allow minors to use the App are responsible for supervising the minor's compliance with these Terms.

3. User Accounts & Registration

A. Account Creation

To access core features of Onlid, you must register for an account using your name, email address, job title, or via third-party authentication services like Google Sign-In. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.

B. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at Onlid@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

C. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time by navigating to your Account Settings within the App and selecting Delete Account. Deleting your account terminates your right to use the App and deletes associated personal profile data according to our Privacy Policy.

4. App Permissions & Functionality

To provide screen time management, usage monitoring, and app-blocking features, Onlid requires certain device permissions (such as Accessibility Services, Usage Access, and Notifications).

  • You choose whether to grant these permissions.
  • Revoking or denying permissions may prevent core features of the App from functioning as intended.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or derive the source code of the App.
  • Circumvent, disable, or tamper with any security-related features or permission controls in the App.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or harvest data from the App.
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Onlid App—including software, design, logos, trademarks, text, graphics, and features—are owned by or licensed to Onlid. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on your personal device strictly in accordance with these Terms.

7. Advertisements & Third-Party Content

Onlid may contain advertisements, links, or content provided by third parties not affiliated with us. We do not endorse or assume responsibility for any third-party products, services, or websites. Your interactions with third-party advertisers are solely between you and the third party.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ONLID DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREELY SECURE FROM THIRD-PARTY INTERFERENCE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW (INCLUDING LAWS IN THE US, EU, UK, EEA, AND CANADA), IN NO EVENT SHALL ONLID, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, OR EMPLOYEES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account or access to the App at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms or engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior. You may terminate these Terms at any time by deleting your account and removing the App from your device.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you within the App or via email before the changes become effective. Your continued use of Onlid after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
